You have a great reputation and ten years of regulars. What you do not have yet is a website. I put this together before we ever talked, so you can see exactly where you are found online right now and what a site of your own would change. It is yours to keep either way.
Eight things a potential customer (and Google) looks for. Here is where each one stands today versus with a site of your own.
| Signal | Today | With your own site |
|---|---|---|
| A website you own | None at all | A fast site on rannathreading.com |
| Your name as a web address | threadingbyranna.com is parked by a stranger | rannathreading.com, claimed and yours |
| Search your name on Google | Yelp, Setmore, directories own the results | You rank #1 for "Threading by Ranna" |
| "Eyebrow threading Linda Vista" | Competitors and directories rank | A real page built for that search |
| Your story and why Ranna | Nowhere a customer can read it | On the page, in your words |
| Business info for Google (schema) | No owned page carries it | Hours, map, 4.5★ wired in |
| Sharing a link (text, IG, FB) | No page of your own to send | A real title and image preview |
| One place that is truly yours | A rented Setmore booking page | A homepage you own, booking kept |
| Your prices and menu | Inside the booking widget only | On the site, plain and crawlable |
Ordered by impact. The first three are the ones genuinely costing you new customers.
A salon with your reviews should have a home of its own. Right now a new customer who hears your name and searches has nowhere that you control to land. They end up on a third-party page, or they bounce. A simple, fast site turns "I heard about Ranna" into a booking. Fix: a one-page site that loads in a second and sends people straight to your booking and phone.
The obvious address for your salon, threadingbyranna.com, is already registered, but not by you. A WHOIS lookup shows it is held by a privacy-protected third party overseas and parked on an ad service, which is why it loads nothing useful. It is not an asset you own, it is a name a stranger is holding. The good news: a clean, equally strong address is open right now. I checked, and rannathreading.com is available to register today. Fix: claim rannathreading.com and put your real site on it. It keeps your name and the word people actually search, threading.
Search "Threading by Ranna" and the top results are Yelp, Setmore, BBB, Nextdoor, ClassPass, Waze, Yellowpages, and other aggregators. They rank for your name, they put competitors' ads on your listing, and they can change their rules any time. A site you own takes the number one spot for your own name and keeps that visitor with you. Fix: an owned site almost always outranks directories for your exact business name.
People search "eyebrow threading near me" and "eyebrow threading Linda Vista" far more than they search your name. Booksy alone lists 14+ threading options in Linda Vista, and salons like Super Brows rank in those results. With no site, you are relying entirely on Yelp and Maps to be found for the service itself. Fix: a page written around those exact searches gives Google a reason to show you.
Your Setmore page is a fine scheduler, but it is a bare list of services. No photos, no story, no reviews, no local wording, and a generic "grow with Setmore" footer. Google has almost nothing there to rank, and a first-time visitor gets no sense of who you are. Fix: keep the Setmore booking, wrap a real site around it.
Different directories show different information for you. We found two different phone numbers listed across sites, and your category is labeled differently from one place to the next. Mismatched name, address, and phone confuse both Google's local ranking and the customer trying to reach you. Fix: pick one set of details and make every listing match it (worth confirming which phone is current).
When a happy client wants to post you, or you want to text the link to someone, there is no page with a proper title and image to share. A real site gives every share a clean preview card.
For a salon, most of what moves you up in Google and Maps lives outside a website, and you own all of it.
These are the things a site needs from day one. They are already live on the demo you came from. No charge, no strings.

This is what lets Google show your hours, map pin, and star rating directly in search. It is already on the demo, with both your locations.
Everything here was checked against public sources in June 2026. The domain finding is from a WHOIS lookup on June 26, 2026: threadingbyranna.com is registered to a privacy-protected third party overseas (not the salon) and is parked on an ad service, while rannathreading.com is unregistered and available to claim. Ratings and review counts are from your Yelp listing. The two phone numbers were seen across different directories and are worth confirming. A new site typically starts showing in search within 4 to 8 weeks.
I already built the website. It is ready for a clean domain you own (rannathreading.com is open), sends people straight to your Setmore booking, has your reviews and services on the page, and carries all the business data for Google above. It is ready to look at on the site you came from.
